Water damage cleanup, explained

A burst pipe or appliance overflow can wet materials well beyond the visible puddle. A restoration assessment should identify the source, the spread and the work needed to dry affected spaces.

Stop the cause, then assess the damage

Cleanup does not repair the source of a leak. Ask whether you need a plumber or another qualified trade alongside the restoration assessment. Only use a shutoff if you can reach it safely.

What the scope may include

Depending on the property, the scope may include water removal, moisture mapping, selective removal of damaged materials and monitored drying. Ask what is proposed for your property and why; not every loss needs the same equipment or demolition.

Ask for records

Request written costs, an approval process for changes and documentation of drying. Confirm who will handle repairs after mitigation and whether that work is in the estimate.

Questions you may have

Do you perform water extraction?

No. We are a referral and connection service. Independent providers perform and bill for any restoration work you choose to hire.
